PhD, CCC-SLP, BCBA-D, LBA
“Dr. RY” (Pronounced like rye bread) is a strong advocate for communication access. She is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist and behavior analyst who specializes in working with individuals with diverse communication needs and their families. Her clinical and research interests include the application of verbal behavior and functional [dynamic] assessment in the treatment of communication disorders, as well as maximizing therapeutic benefit through interprofessional collaboration between SLPs and BCBAs. She believes that innovation occurs at the intersection of different disciplines and voices.
Along with her co-founder, Tamara Kasper, she believes it’s time to take bold steps toward building interprofessional solutions that combat pseudoscience, misinformation, and disinformation. That’s why they co-founded Bridgify—to bridge knowledge to action by getting research and evidence-based practices off the shelves and into the hands of the people who need them most.
Bridgify collaborates with experts to create personalized pathways forward—through consultations, courses, and practical, actionable tools—so professionals and families can confidently move from knowing to doing and feel assured they’re taking the right next step. We know you can do it. You just need the right bridge for you.

Bill Guschwan
CTO, Chief Technology Officer
B.S., PreProfessional University of Notre Dame
What if video games weren’t just entertainment—but tools for meaningful learning, ethical reflection, and self-determination in your own healthcare journey?
As a game designer, field philosopher, and educator, I explore how play can cultivate virtue, spark innovation, and guide ethical decision-making. From helping shape early technologies at Apple’s QuickTime and Newton and Sony’s PlayStation to developing serious games for education and healthcare, I’ve seen how interactive media can support not just learning—but healing.
My work integrates design systems, Indian and Greek philosophy, and a deep commitment to human dignity. Through frameworks like The Philosopher’s Stone and gamiforming, I help designers and healthcare teams rethink truth—not as something fixed, but as something revealed through dynamic interaction.
By leveraging game mechanics and the dynamic capabilities of large language models, we design tools that are not only ethical and personalized—but also engaging, adaptive, and responsive to real-world needs.
I’m helping Bridgify build systems that meet people where they are—whether they’re navigating complex care decisions or supporting a child’s first steps toward communication. We help people find the right bridge for them through co-constructed, personalized pathways forward.

Our Mission
At Bridgify, our mission is to bridge the gap between research and real-world practice by fostering a global, interprofessional network that connects practitioners, researchers, educators, and parents in dynamic, reciprocal dialogue. We are committed to advancing evidence-based practices through collaborative innovation, shared knowledge, and the dissemination of empirically supported interventions that are both scientifically sound and practically applicable.
By uniting experts across disciplines, we strive to create a vibrant, co-constructed community where research is not only disseminated—but actively tested, refined, and returned stronger through real-world feedback and implementation. We believe in a bidirectional bridge, where knowledge flows both ways: research informs practice, and practice sharpens research.
Through ongoing collaboration, education, and advocacy, we empower professionals and families with the tools, resources, and support they need to implement best practices effectively and confidently. Our platform makes it possible to shorten the time it takes for quality research to reach the hands of those who need it most—while creating direct pathways for practitioner insight to shape the next wave of innovation.
Our goal is to ensure that every individual—regardless of their challenges—has access to the highest standard of care and support, fostering meaningful communication, personal growth, independence, and overall well-being. At Bridgify, we don’t just build bridges—we build a shared ecosystem where knowledge becomes action, and every voice strengthens the structure.
